Is this project dead?

So, no one is talking in this forum for almost a MONTH! So I was thinking if this really cool project is really, but REALLY dead.

[Desktop Software] Tixati 2.43

[Tixati](https://www.tixati.com/) is a proprietary cross-platform BitTorrent client. > Unlike many other torrent clients, we take pride in saying NO to spyware and adware. Tixati installs and uninstalls cleanly and doesn't add anything extra to your system. Our software is fully self-contained and doesn't have annoying dependencies on Java or .Net frameworks. The portable bundle contains Windows and Linux binaries. Display File Size

There is no indication how big the files are. This would be good to know how long it will take to load a file. Also, it would be good if there was some kind of progress bar for the download. Maybe similar to what mega.nz does?

IZR Vision

The primary aim of ISR is that everyone everywhere will always be able to access important software for their day to day life. This means that if the videolan website dies forever, or for some reason is compromised (think hackers or censorship), there will always be at least one verified genuine installer for VLC on ISR. The secondary reason is more due to the hacker/censorship/NSA sort of thing. We hope (yes, just hope) that the software we all know and love is not compromised at the moment. We can support this hope by the fact the many people across the world are using the same file as us. The reason this makes us feel better is that if, say, the NSA built a backdoor into bitmessage, they likely wouldn't do that for servers outside the US. Instead, they would more likely just redirect US website visitors to their own page, complete with compromised download. This is why the file hashing is important. It tells us that we aren't being sent a fake file (or at least everyone is, but we hope that's less likely). For all intents and purposes, going to the official site to download might still be a good idea if you are able. Then take that link and cross check the hash against our table. As for the target audience, I'd say most people on zeronet. That is to say that people who have tech-backgrounds or maybe some concept of cybersecurity? Of course by no means do you need that to use our service, but much of our software centers around that. So to summarize, ISR is here to make sure everybody is able to get their hands on untampered important software.

[Suggestion] Have a description of the software.

I think it would be nice to see a short description of the software and what it does. Thanks in advance!

[Desktop Software] KeePass 1.31 Portable for Windows

KeePass is a free open source password manager, which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key file. So you only have to remember one single master password or select the key file to unlock the whole database. The databases are encrypted using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known (AES and Twofish).

[Desktop Software] Tox Secure P2P Instant Messenger (qTox 64-Bit) Windows

The Tox Project Tox began a few years ago, in the wake of Edward Snowden's leaks regarding NSA spying activity. The idea was to create an instant messaging protocol that ran without any kind of central servers. The system would be distributed, peer-to-peer, and encrypted end-to-end, with no way to disable any of the encryption features; at the same time, the protocol would be easily usable by the layperson with no practical knowledge of cryptography or distributed systems. Work began during the Summer of 2013 by a single anonymous developer (who continues, to this day, to remain anonymous). This lone developer put together a library implementing the Tox protocol. The library provides all of the messaging and encryption facilities, and is completely decoupled from any user-interface; for an end-user to make use of Tox, they need a Tox client. Fast-forward a few years to today, and there exist several independent Tox client projects, and the original Tox core library implementation is nearing completion (in terms of features). Tox (both core and clients) has thousands of users, hundreds of contributors, and the project shows no sign of slowing down. Recently, a group of some of the project's major contributors have formed The Tox Project, an organization built around the protection, promotion, and advancement of Tox and its development.
